Regina drove home rather quickly. Tears in her eyes now. She had never felt SO low as she felt now. And the sad thing was? She didn't have Archie to run to and tell her woes anymore..
She parked her care and hurried into the house, locking the door. She then went to her study. If Emma Swan didn't believe her....no one would... Regina was on her own to find out the truth.
To prove her own innocence.....

Whatever tear stains that were still on his face were quickly wiped away. His mind was still woozy after drinking whatever was in that drink to help him calm down. He still couldn't believe it. The closest thing to a best friend he had in this whole town was gone. And it was all the fault of the woman who owned the house he was now standing in front of.
Honestly, Fred remembered nothing after being consoled by Ruby and the band about Archie's death. His feet seemed to have a mind of their own and brought him in front of the Mayor's home. He might've still felt a bit tipsy, but he was enraged.
Trying to appear calm at first, he knocked on the front door.

Regina heard the knock on the door and cringed. Most likely, it was Henry, demanding to know why she broke her promise to him AND killed Archie. "I didn't do it!!" she called out in the emptiness of the house. She then held still and quiet. Maybe...maybe.. Henry would leave...

Fred shrunk back from the door a bit. "What?" he mouthed to himself. he had to get to the bottom of this. He knocked on the door again.

Apples. Apple trees... in a lawn of freshly cut grass!
The scent of the woman, SadApple, who had lately visited NiceMan for sessions. Upset, anxious, and in need of slobbery kisses.
...Not...the other. The Other, who took NiceMan. Pongo had tried to warn him when he let The Other through the door; her demeanor conveyed pretense and deception. And her scent was... other worldly.
Pongo made sure not to snag his limp leash on anything as he made his way towards the house. As soon as he had caught a faint trace of SadApple's scent downtown, he took off after it; SheWolf didn't have a chance to respond. Perhaps SadApple knew where NiceMan was!!!
He was about to trot up to the door when he noticed a man he did not know knock on it. Pongo froze. Sure he was social when he knew the crowd, but the dog was in fact quite shy about first time sniffs. Pongo whined to himself, saw that he had a clear shot to the backyard and darted soundlessly.

Regina gave a sigh then. If it was Henry, why delay the inevitable?
She made her way to the door. As she opened it she said, "Henry, what ever you heard that isn't true, I...!" She froze upon seeing who it was.

Out of the corner of his eye, Fred saw a blur of black and white run to the Mayor's backyard. He was about to check to see what it was when the Queen opened the door while talking.
"... I'm listening," he said, filling in the silence.

"Oh." she said flatly then. "It's you.." Gods she hated that mouse and his band of Jazz Birds! She when to slam the door in his face.

Quickly, Fred stuck his foot, or shin rather, into the doorway before the door could close all the way. He cringed a bit at the impact. "Hey! I thought you'd be able to afford some manners by now, but I suppose not."

"I'm in no mood to talk to a mouse!" she spat at him. She opened the door and slammed it again.

"OW! That's my friggin' leg, woman!" But Fred decided to be persistent. "Well, why don't you come out here and say that face-to-face to me, big-shot?"

Regina took a step out then. "I. Am. In no mood. To. Talk to. A. MOUSE!" she spat, and for a send time that day sending a fellow citizen flying with magic.

His back made contact with a tree in the yard, making him wince again as he fell down. "Better... tell that... to whatever's in your yard now," Fred panted, trying to get back up and regain his breath. "I'm in no mood to leave without answers, your Majesty."

"If you check in your backyard first," Fred breathed, "because there's something back there now, then will you talk to me?"
