The sun was high in the western forest as a lone traveler was making his way along the beaten path between the trees. It was a normal occurrence certainly but it was the individual who was lost that made the situation strange. The lad was 7 years old and entirely made of wood. The young puppet's eyes scanned the area around him for anybody whom could help him navigate his way out of this place. He'd lost sight of his Papa as they were traveling and now he was totally lost.
"Hello?" he called out, hoping to receive a reply from someone who could com to his aid. "Is there anybody out here?"

Off the path and among the greenery of the area rested a human male with brown hair. He was taking a quick doze in the shade while he could, getting ready to get up and get on the move afterwards. Always on the run, that was hard when he had made that deal...
Timothy perked up when he heard a voice of a child calling out for help. Grabbing his own provisions, he made his way through the forest in the direction of the sound. "Someone there?" he called, still searching for the owner of the voice while in the general area the wooden boy unknowingly was.

Pinocchio perked up when he heard the voice call out in response and began to look about, hoping to locate the stranger whom he'd discovered.
"Yes, over here!" the young boy shouted in reply, hoping that whoever he'd happened upon wouldn't be too put off by his appearance. "I got lost...can you show yourself? Or hear me?" he called, looking to get help as swiftly as possible.

Timothy turned right around when the owner of the voice called out again. Oddly enough, he was vaguely surprised to see who--or what--was talking. It was a little wooden puppet, moving around like he was a regular boy.
"... I can hear you, kid," he answered, stepping forward to show himself to the boy. "And... I can say that I've definitely seen stranger things."
