"I have a condition for you as well, Robin of Loxely..." Else said, as Robin approached dangerously near the defenseless prince. The queen quickly unfastened Robin's treasured quiver and bow from Hans's steed, taking it over to the bandit. "If you are truly grateful for what has been done for you this night... you will not visit any harm upon Prince John on your journey back to your land together."
She could see this was not settling well with Robin. Else held tight to the weapon in her hands until Robin would agree. "Robin... you must PROMISE not to hurt this man... it is not the right time. The victory is already yours this night."

Robn grit her teeh at her request. It would be better, at least in her mind, to kill him now. He'd already caused so much pain and heart-ache....
But she did owe a huge debt to the Queen, and from what Robin had seen The Queen knew what she was talking about.
"fine...." Robin gave a nod,"But this once will I abide"

Else smiled, reassured, and gently placed the bow and quiver in Robin's hands.
"You know... a very long time ago, a King was riding through his lands and came upon three daughters, trying to drag a large pine they had cut down back to warm their home, their father being very frail and ill. " Else told the bandit, conjuring memories from her own past. "The King could have been furious, for this was his land... but instead he dismounted, and took hold of the pine himself and helped them on their way home; these were his people after all... the cornerstone of his kingdom... as young as they were." The Queen sighed deeply, sadly. "And even though one of those little girls is far away from her wooded cottage in the King's land... she will always consider England her true home... and the generous King's spirit it's protector."
She looked up at at Robin, her eyes nearly watery, with love... and homesickness... for the land of her birth. "Be England's protector... not another tyrant." Of course the queen was only speaking of Robin sparing the Phoney King's life so that the people of England could have the final judgement.
Had Else known Robin's true identity as the True King's Daughter... her words would have taken on a whole new meaning.

Robin smiled weakly then embraced The Queen," I promise M'lady, England is in good hands," She took a step back and bowed," Till then My Queen!"
Robin grinned and gave a final salute as she turned to her mount, she stepped into the stirrup and swung her leg over. She was ready to go home.

Hans blinked at the small man hugging his Else. And while he didn't have the urge to punch the slim man like he had with the grouchy Prince... something was noy settling well. The simple King did not realize that he was feeling jealousy... that the two were sharing something, some bond, that he was not privy to.
He was not sure if he should trust this little man, woman, then man-again AT ALL. But Else seemed to... and he trusted Else with all his heart.
Hans' Queen then went to his steed and reached up to rummage inside the small pack tied to the saddle. She retrieved a coiled up rope and tossed it over to Hans.
"Bound up our dear Prince John, husband. " Else requested. "As you would a very very mean Bull in the fields."
Hans grinned up at the funny slim man; now here was something ONLY Hans could do very well! He tackled the grouchy prince to the ground, as he would a troublesome bull, and went to bound the man's hands to his feet. But Else oversaw the process, making sure that the King only tied the hands together, so he could follow Robin's horse by foot.
The bonds were inescapable, beautifully furnished with knots that could only be conquered by sword. Hans took the leash end of the rope and handed it up to Robin, with glowing pride on his face.

Robin continued to smirk as John struggled against the bonds, when Hans offered the rope to her she smiled and nodded," Thank you your Majesty, dear Hans" She tied the rope to her saddle"
"Come along Phony King," She said to The Prince," I bet if we keep a quicker pace we can make it to Knotting ham by sundown tomorrow"

It was bad enough having been spit on by an ogre, but now this oaf had him tied like a common beast, and was being lead around by the one person he hated more than anyone in his lifetime.
He shot one final glare at Else, who didn't seem phased but then having no choice followed behind Robin Hood's steed.
