John looked at her, up and down assessing her like an animal at a marketplace or auction, his eyes seemed cold and unfeeling.
He approached her not even paying attention to the girl in the back or her King," Where is he?" he asked quite simply

"As our messenger should have informed you, he got away." She frowned, pouring wine for the stone-faced prince and for herself. "But not before insulting the King's honor and slaying four of my own personal guard." She offered the goblet to him. "We managed to detain him in a holding cell... but he managed to escape somehow. The captain of my guard is personally over-seeing the investigation."

He looked at the wine disdainfully and circled her as he took the glass poured for him," You're captain of the guard? Don't tell me he was the one in charge of holding Robin Hood in the first place...." He took a sip of the wine, then set it down- clearly unsatisfied," We saw how well that went didn't we...?"

"Only as well as your attempts to thwart your query in the past." She retorted, sipping from her goblet.

Hans didn't like the way this man was speaking to his Else. He edged in closer towards her, ready to intercept if Else asked it of him.

Robin couldn't help but smirk a bit- she watched Han closely, silently hoping he'd knock The Phoney King on his ass given the chance

Theo raised an eyebrow, then chuckled; low and dryly," Your Majesty.... you do realize I'm holding you responsible for whatever happens to the fugitive, do you not?" His eyes met hers,"Should you fail to bring me this one man-,' he moved in close to her and leaned to speak softly into her ear," I'll ensure that you lose everything, your subjects will be slaughtered, your kingdom in complete ruin and I'll make sure that you watch everything, helplessly and bound in chains; and when there is absolutely nothing left, I'll have you executed," He smirked and looked to Hans," before you're very own King"

Hans could no longer contain himself; he may be daft, but he recognized a threat to his Else... and he didn't like it. His large hands were about to seize Prince John's neck, but Else held her hand up to stop him.
Although it chilled her to the bone that such an evil, vile man could be in existence, a man who could justify the slaughter of thousands of innocents just to capture one man... she held firm in the belief that he held no jurisdiction in this foreign land, threatening a foreign monarchy...and he knew it. And that to follow thru on such evil threats would create retaliation from numerous surrounding kingdoms that hers had iron clad relations with... including King Midas. He was rich in gold, Hans and Else were rich on farmland and crop; it was a mutual existence... and well protected. And then there was the enchanted forest, with its numerous defenses...
But she needed to play the part of the fearful queen. The Prince would be less apt to sense deception if he believed she could be bullied.
Else took in a sharp breath, processing what he had just said, and she rose a shaky goblet to her lips to finish off the wine. "Fortunately, it won't come to any of that. I will help you find him." She revealed Robin's bow and quiver. "I can only assume you can recognize what this is, from your numerous encounters with the scoundrel."
"I know of a seer, deep in the wood, who can give you the exact location of a person, merely by touching a personal effect of theirs. Hans will escort you to her."

John eyed the bow and quiver, they did indeed belong to Robin hood, though there was something else familiar about them.... no matter he met the eyes of the Queen and smiled cooly,"A seer? that's the most accurate you can do? I must say I'm a bit disappointed-"
he sauntered closer and tipped her chin,"-but... I suppose it's a start....."

Prince John touched Else.
...And Hans snapped. The last time he had been this angry, it was when a wolf had managed to get into the sheep pen of his father's farm. It had gotten at the throat of a young ewe that Hans had delivered himself earlier that same year. He took his fists to the wolf until its head was caved in.
In one quick movement, he delivered a punch to Prince John's neck, right above the collarbone. The Prince stumbled back, and Hans would have done more, like he did to the wolf, but Else held him back.

Else grabbed Hans' muscular arm. "NO. Husband!" She cried out; the simple man might ruin everything...
Though there was a small side of her that relished what her husbands devotion to her had accomplished.
"Forgive my husband." Else said quickly. "... but he doesn't like to see another man touch his Queen." And in such a disrespectful manner! She would remember to give a kiss to Hans later.

John clutched his throat and steadied himself against the table behind him, when he regained his composure he stared at the two of them with a murderous look in his eyes. he coghed a bit then straightened, "I.... suppose I can't argue..."
He may have wanted to kill them both right then and there, but he wasn't a fool- far too much was at stake here... however, this would not go unnoticed, as soon as he was out of reach.... then he would make his move....

"If I would be permitted to change, your grace..." Else suggested, gesturing down at her night attire. "...Then I will take you to the seer, straight away." She waited, and then cleared her throat, referring to the large group of soldiers. "I would prefer there NOT to be such a large audience."

Once Prince John was gone, Else turned to Robin right away. "You did wonderfully! He didn't even suspect..." She then retrieved Robin's clothes and tossed them to her. "Change of plans; I'm sorry, but simply slipping you out is no longer an option...that Prince John is a scourge upon this earth and a forceful lesson must be taught to him if we are to prevent him from ever returning."
She then turned to Hans, standing on her tiptoes to give him a peck on the cheek. "Thank you, dear Husband, for coming to my defense."
