"You never came home last night, I wanted to make sure you were alright," He looked down at the redhead and her sister floating in the waters... each with long, brightly scaled fins trailing behind them. He raised an eyebrow at Alana and smirked," I know you missed me, Love, but you can keep your shirt on, I'm here" he winked and took a seat n the splintereing wood of the dock.
"So.... is this an effect of magic returning?" He asked, gesturing to their new-but-familiar-additions, Neither the faeries or the Cricket had returned to their magical forms, but perhaps things worked differently for mermaids.

Alana seethed, her chipper self completely gone at the moment. "Go to HELL Hook..." She then turned to Ariel. "He's been LIVING with you??? Ariel... what happened to 'no more secrets'?"
"No you TWIT... she's finally over your sorry scurvy a$$! So she's reverted, as per the detail of her deal!" She then glanced back at Ariel. "Though LIVING with the man you're trying to get over doesn't exactly ACCELERATE the process..."

"It's fine I would have told you its not big deal we aren't together he just needed a place to sleep. It was only for a few weeks..." Ariel admitted.
She could explain to Alana why but Alana would never understand and Ariel didn't want to fight with her over him not again not ever!
"Yeah she is right its the deal, over you back to a mermaid. Honestly I would have expected you to figure that out. " Ariel sighed, she didn't want Alana and him to fight not again.
"Anyway we still aren't sure why Alana is a mermaid. I would accept any help you can offer about us our human form back and NO NECKLACES!" Ariel told him there was a point when he said he would help her she wondered if he might keep his word.

As if he would help her
He held up his hand and hook defensively," I don't have such resources on me at this point, and believe me I'm done 'jewelry shopping' with that fairy"

Alana was silent at this point. How could Ariel have kept something like this to herself? Had she learned NOTHING? Why must she put herself through that kind of torture. Living with the man who broke your heart. And so soon after. Of course she wouldn't tell her family about it... knowing how they would react.
Just even more proof that Ariel would always put this man first in her heart. That stung. But Alana wasn't about to lose her sister again over it. It wasn't worth it. She just wished... that this Hook would hop aboard his ship and sail away forever...
She could have shot more at him. The pirate looked at her as though he expected more from her. Alana looked at her sister. "I'll be waiting..." She murmured. With that, she gracefully dove under the water to go back to the sunken houseboat.

Ariel could sense Alana wasn't happy she didn't tell her and she knew she would have to explain to her sister. Ariel turned back to Hook.
"Look, I know you don't have any way to help us but well your usually good at getting around that so if you hear anything just let me know." Ariel sighed.
"I really don't wish to be stuck like this forever..."
"Anyway you can stay at my place under one condition well maybe a few, keep it clean, don't destroy it and don't sleep in my bed! I mean it I will come back from the sea and drown you!" Ariel warned him honestly she didn't care if he slept in her bed just as long as he was alone. Which had nothing to do with her being Jealous and more to do with the fact that it was her bed.

"Relax Love," He smiled," I'll keep your apartment so clean if I did sleep in your bed you wouldn't know I was there"
He felt sorry for her, especially since he had been a part of it(even if that wasn't his intention and certainly not his fault).
He sighed and started to stand," Is there anything I can bring you?"

Ariel smiled, "You better and no women!" Ariel rested her hands on the deck.
"No really just be respectful please." Ariel sighed, "I trust you Killian I know I shouldn't but I do." Ariel admitted they had a bond of sorts others wouldn't understand.
"Please tell Else whats going on and Killian you have to go to see her." Ariel would worry about Else while she was gone.
"I can't be there for her so... you have to."

He nodded," I will... I'll tell her whats happened and that you're alright" he smiled and took her hand in his bringing it to his lips for a light kiss.
"If I hear of anything... anything that can help I will bring it to you"

"Thank you Killian." Ariel give him a smile even though she was still more then upset with her current situation there was not much she could do about it. So she tried to be as cheerful as possible she was going to have to call the club and tell them she couldn't work for a while.
"Can you come back and let me know how Else is doing?" Ariel asked "maybe tomorrow night? I'm going to miss her so much." Ariel sank back in the dark waters. She had to let Else know she was okay and then Ariel would talk to her sister. Ariel felt bad Alana was upset with her yet again. She sighed one day she would get this right maybe...

Alana saw Ariel approaching from the sunken boat's window. She had resumed crafting her sister's new top for tomorrow... for the double date.
Bitter thoughts about Ariel dating when she was still so closely entwined with that Pirate still made her wonder if it was even FAIR to this... 'Sheng'. She tried to push the thoughts away. Her sister was careless... She did what she want, un-intentionally hurt those who cared about her in the process, got hurt herself, and then PUNISHED herself for her actions.... yet never tried to course-correct the situation to avoid it in the future. And it was a cycle that Alana was finding hard to watch. She loved her sister and just wanted her to be HAPPY.
100 percent HAPPY. And as long as she was wrapped around that man's hook with Ariel always wondering "what if"... that wasn't possible. Alana bit her tongue and just focused everything on the project in her hands.
"It's looking real nice..." Alana said, weak smile on her face as Ariel entered. "The pearls look GREAT... oh.. I have assorted pearls too.. different colors. Eric brought them to me... in a 'Bucket O' Baubles', isn't he adorable?"

"Yes he is he is perfect... Alana look I'm sorry I didn't tell you. Honestly when Killian first needed a place to stay I had just met Sheng and I had no idea anything would come of it even if I wanted it to. I know I should have told you." Ariel sighed, it was still so strange to be breathing underwater she missed it more then she wanted to admit.
She sat down on a sunken chair after picking up a little crab and sending it on it's way. "I know you think I'm still hopelessly drawn to Killian but we are just friends. Nothing happened when he was staying with me. I barely saw him he would basically use my couch. I was to busy working nights and spending days with Else's and her twins to think much of it. I know when I needed a place he was there for me. So how could I turn him away when I knew he had no place to go?"
Ariel looked around Alana didn't look to impressed but what could she say. That Killian was there for her when she had no one. When she woke up alone in the sea that he offered her a way out. It ended up almost destroying her but he was the reason she was her with her family. Ariel knew she couldn't turn her back on him and would she ever reach a point where she wanted to? She had no idea they were friends Killian didn't have many but he had her, still Ariel wondered if he needed her? She liked Sheng more then Ariel could even admit less she mess that up to.
"I don't want him Alana, I am not still thinking what if he loved me back. Killian is far to emotionally destroyed for that and I know that I always have. One point I may have thought I could help him but I have tried and there is always the same result. We however have to much history between us for me to just never see him again. I could tell you everything all of it if you wanted I don't wish to keep things from you Alana not anymore. I've never spoke of things that happened between us to anyone but I want to tell you if you will listen. Then there will but no secrets between us."
Ariel waited she wasn't Alana wanted to hear about it but if she did Ariel would tell her. Everything... even the shower thing? Well maybe she would leave that out. No this was Alana if she asked to hear about it Ariel would tell her. She was done keeping things from her maybe Ariel needed to confess they did have nothing but time now.

"I didn't say anything..." Alana shrugged, her eyes glued to her task. Ariel wasn't satisfied with that response. So Alana sighed, putting down her work.
"Okay. you didn't tell ANYONE... for whatever reason... maybe cause your used to only depending on him... and Else, I guess. And while that was great that there were a few people there for you... you have a FAMILY behind you now. But we're still not in the know. You keep it that way. I'm not saying that you need to check in with one of us whenever you sneeze... but this is huge. Yes Ariel... it is. Living with the man that cursed you, broke your heart, yet you still can talk about him like a friend... that's a big thing. Dad could have put him up at the Storybrooke Inn. That would be MUCH better then finding out he's been staying with the daughter he hurt."
A flash of panic flashed across Ariel's face. "Don't worry... I'm not going tell dad... ugh... more secrets..." She looked down at the sea-shell top she was working on. "Hook... is always going to be the bastard that hurt my sister, caused a rift between her and family... and continues to take advantage of her. You don't see it that way... but that is what it looks like. I have seen nothing redeeming in that man, without wanting to get something in return or leaning upon the crutch of someone ELSE pointing him in the moral direction. But I know... you see it differently. Past lovers usually do..."
Alana shook her head. "It's something we're never going to agree on. But I love you, and don't want to lose you over it. Not again. He's not worth it. Hopefully this Sheng guy can distract you enough from even the MEMORY of all that..."

Ariel met her sisters eyes, "I know Alana and I promise I wont keep things from you again."
Ariel swam over to her, "Alana, Killian has redeeming qualities they might be hidden but I promise you they are there. He has saved my life more then once and I have saved his. We have been though a lot and I know you think that this makes me run to him when I feel I can't come to you. I never wanted you to feel that way." Ariel pulled her sister into a hug.
"I love you Alana we use to be the closest and I want that back. So from now on I'm an open book and if you want to know anything just ask." Ariel finished the hug and looked over at her sisters items.
"Wow these are pretty! I never knew you were so talented." Ariel smiled hoping her sister might forgive her and still confused about how she felt about the whole thing.

Adella walked along the abandoned docks with her guitar, enjoying the peace and quiet and the sound of the water lapping against the shore. She couldn't sleep and she wasn't really sure what was keeping her awake. She wasn't really stressed. Sure, things between her and Archie were inconclusive as usual ever since she revealed her true feelings to him and he had said that he liked her. It gave her hope that they could be more than just friends and she wanted that.
She wanted that bad, but she wasn't willing to risk losing his friendship over it. It's possible that that was what was bothering her, the anticipation of his final decision about where they stood. Either way, whether it was or it wasn't, the combination of the night air and some music should help. She sat down at the end of the dock, cross-legged, and started strumming out a slow, relaxing melody. It was a version of a lullaby her mother used to sing to her and her sisters when they were little, but she couldn't remember all of it.
