Ariel washed her hair mulling over what they should do with Melody crying all night and every time she fell sleep for a moment she woke with a start. There was nothing else they could do but go back and fight.
Still Melody had the dream about being protected by a wolf and that could only mean one thing. Toby had to go with them and they had to take Melody back to talk with Ursula to get her daughters life back she would do anything. There was no price Ariel wouldn't pay she was certain Killian would be a good father no matter what happened.
Ariel jumped out of the shower got dress and went to the kitchen. she found a note on the table and paled. It was sweet it spoke of things Killian would never be able to tell her. Just when Ariel was about to burst into silent tears she whispers from Melody's room. She made her way to the doorway.
"You can't leave, we need to do this together. Else put a bean in the music box she handed me. She is always thinking I think the only option is to go together and bring Toby. If Melody is seeing the future then he is going to save her." Ariel's voice was flat devoid of emotion because she had no room for anger or fear it was her daughter who was in danger and she knew Killian was just trying to protect them.
"This is one problem you can't solve on your own and you can't run away from it. Melody has to come with us I don't see another way." She waited for him to answer holding his note in her clenched fist so hard she was sure her nails were drawing blood. She ignored it the pain grounded her made her feel alive because Ariel felt like she was drowning.

"I would never run away, you know that... but I don't want to risk your life or Melody's...."
He sighed and set down his bag," But.... I think you're right. I just... I don't have a problem risking my own life for you and Melody. But putting your lives on the line... that's scary. I can genuinely say I'm afraid of that, of something happening to the only family I have left"
Hook swallowed," But if this is the only way... we should find Toby"

Ariel went over to him taking his hand, "I understand that fear well Killian. We were both pretty selfish people before Melody came into our lives she changed that part of us. I told you I would follow you anywhere and I mean it. This is what we must do I hate the idea of taking her into danger but at this point it would be worse not to." She admitted with a shaky voice.
She knew in her heart it was the best thing. Melody looked weak and sleepy already. It wouldn't be long before she would get sick with no rest it could get worse from there... she could No! Ariel wouldn't even consider that there was no coming back from that. She would die before Melody was harmed even if she had to face Ursula alone if she had to.
"We should go talk to Toby or I can if you want to stay here with Melody and pack? I can meet you at the ship its packed with most of the things we need anyway. Well I had them delivered anyway. Just don't try to do this alone please I need you more then I ever have. I'll fall apart with out you." Ariel put her arms around him just needing a moment of him holding her then she could find Toby and beg him to come with them.
Ariel wanted to cry at the unfairness of life giving them one good thing and then trying to rip it away. Her and Killian didn't have the perfect relationship but they were good parents, and they worked well together. Perhaps they would never admit how much they needed each other and some small part of Ariel still thought it would leave if things got to hard one day. She knew he would do anything to protect them she knew she loved him more then anyone save her daughter. She swallowed back tears the last time she was this scared was when she told Killian she was pregnant it ended up being the best thing that ever happened to her. This was unknown and she was terrified but she wasn't alone and she was grateful for at least that.

Ariel kissed him again, "I will meet you on the ship. With or without Toby." She went over and kissed Melody on the cheek.
"I will be back soon Melody." Ariel left she made it to Toby's quickly and knocked on the door.

"NICK, YOU LITTLE SHIT, NOT IN THE HOUSE, DAMNIT!" Toby opened the door, but his voice softened into a nicer tone at seeing her. "Hello again, princess. To what do we owe the pleasure?" He finally caught sight of her expression. It was concern. He had seen it many times on Dee when the kids' safety were in question. He stepped out on the porch, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Ariel? What's wrong?"
Nick peeked at the two from the doorway.

Ariel took a breath she didn't want to tell Toby this because it would become all to real once she did.
"It's Melody, I think she is under a spell from Ursula she didn't sleep at all last night. Every time she would fall asleep she would wake up with terrible nightmares. One was about being saved by a huge wolf. Killian and I think the only answer is to go back home and try to deal with Ursula. Of course I also think Melody is seeing the future as well and if that's part of the spell or perhaps her own power I'm not sure." Ariel put her arms around herself.
"I want her to be safe at all costs I hate to ask you this but if she saw you save her I have to ask... can you come with us? I know Dee is going to have another baby so if you can't leave her I'll understand I just had to try." Ariel admitted she felt terrible.
"We have to leave as soon as possible so please think about it." Toby was one of her best friends and she had never actually asked him for anything. Though she fought hard to get him his happiness well mostly she almost got eaten by Dee. Ariel hoped that was enough to get him to agree to go with her.

Toby's eyes widened as she told him all this. He opened the door wider and glanced back at Dee. She hadn't heard, but she saw the concern in his face. The Enchanted Forest was really the last place a werewolf wanted to be. It was lawless, unruly, and unsafe for magical creatures just trying to live out their days peacefully.
That's why so few had crossed back over... if ANY. Toby noticed Nick standing there. The boy's eyes were large. So out of character for the usually smug trouble maker.
"Melody?" He asked. "She hurt?"
Toby bent down and picked up his eldest. "Naw... naw she's fine... we're just worried about her, kid." He rubbed Nick's brown hair back. If it was his son, he would do anything to protect him, that's why he understood Ariel's fear. But the Enchanted Forest...
"Are you going to help, daddy?" Nick asked. Well... that settled that. He may yell at the little squirt when he's rowdy... but he really was a push-over when his pup called him the "D" word.
"Yeah. Yeah I'm going to help." He looked back at Ariel. "Just, give me a moment to explain to Dee..." He said, dreading the fight this might instigate with the pregnant Alpha.
Dee was already at the door.

Dee came out to see what Toby and Ariel were doing Nick looked upset. She opened the door and waddled her way over.
"Hello Ariel always nice to see you. So did I hear my name?" She turned to her mate already sensing something was wrong. She didn't like the feeling she was getting from Toby.
"Do we need to talk?" Still if Ariel was here because she needed something Dee wouldn't deny her. Ariel played a pretty big hand in her current happiness. If Dee could help Ariel in hers well then she was willing to do it.

Toby sighed, letting Nick climb down to the floor from his arms. Toby looked back at Dee, not noticing Nick looming behind them to listen.
"Melody's in trouble. They think that I'm supposed to protect her. In the Enchanted forest." He finally said. "I'm willing to help... but it's your call alpha...wife." He put hand son either side of her round belly. "You think you can keep the baby in there for just a while more until I get back?" He grinned, trying to keep the mood light.

Dee could feel how upset he was she knew he didn't want to leave her but this was Ariel and Dee knew how much they owed her. Plus if her daughter was in danger then she felt they must do what they could to help her.
"Toby... if you think you must go to protect her then I will wait for you. I don't want you to leave but I understand Ariel would not have asked if it wasn't important." Dee leaned up to kiss him deeply.
"I love you Toby I will be here when you get back please stay safe. Come back to me as soon as you can." She hugged him as best she could with her huge tummy.
"If our Daughter can't wait for you I will make sure she knows all about you." Dee was certain it was a girl even though they didn't actually know.
She took his hand squeezing it. "You better come back to me soon."

"That's the plan." He said, smirking cocky. But his hand reached up and tenderly caressed her face before he pulled her in for a kiss. He decided to leave right then. To not draw this out. Cause he was coming back. He was confident in that.
"See you later boys!." He was answered by the sound of something else breaking and a round of laughter. Only Nick stepped forward.
"I wanna come!" He said, tugging at his daddy's arm.
Toby picked him up by his arms and let him climb up his front like a wild monkey. "I don't think so. I need a man around to look after your mommy. Do you think you can do that, Nick?" The boy didn't acknowledge the statement. He just peered out at Ariel with his dark eyes.
Toby chuckled and put the boy down, ruffling his hair. "See you, squirt." He followed Ariel.

Dee watched Toby walk down the path, she waved him off. She was upset he was leaving but she also understood it. She turned to go back into the house and check on what the kids broke.
"Clean it up!" She told them seeing her favorite vase on the ground water and flowers everywhere. Flowers Toby had brought home for her last week even though he never did stupid romantic shit like that. Which was pretty much what he said when he gave them to her. It was enough to break her wall and she felt tears start.
She swept up the glass having the kids do the rest and ran into the bathroom to cry. Dee hated crying but she really didn't want the kids to see her. Toby would come back she was sure it didn't make it easier not having him now. He was strong enough to go so she would be strong enough to handle him leaving.
She dried her tears, "Where's Nick?" She asked not seeing him with the other two.

Ariel made her way with Toby back to the ship. "Thank you for coming I will never be able to thank you enough for this. No matter what I will get you back to her." Ariel made a promise to him.
She was a wreck worried about Melody about the future and what she had to bargain with to save her daughter. Ariel didn't have much but she would give anything to see Melody safe.
No price was to high and if she had to fight Killian to trade her life for Melody then it would be done. She feared that Ursula goal was nothing more then the annihilation of her kingdom and family. Now that Daddy was gone nothing could stand in her way. Ariel felt her heart restrict painfully at the knowledge he was gone. She couldn't win poor Alana was who knows where but if Ariel knew Ursula which she did but only by reputation even someone as foolish as Ariel wouldn't go to her with a deal.
Alana was no use to her dead which meant she was probably a prisoner Ariel shuttered to think of her poor sister like that. Else didn't tell her about her other sisters so she hoped they were well. She had to do something but right now Melody was more important then anything she had to be strong for her she had to protect her at any cost.

Meanwhile aboard the Jolly Rodger, Killian was engaged in a riveting game of hide and seek. Maybe it was cheating, but he had heard the little ankle-biter run down to his cabin, so Hook followed the sound once he finished counting. In his bed there was a clump of blankets in the center of the bed. He chuckled and began walking around with heavy footsteps.
"Where did my little mermaid Princess run off to?" He said, running his fingers along the wood," Is she in my closet?" He opened the shutter doors glancing back at too peeping eyes beneath the covers," Nope, she's far too clever for that"
He whirled around looking through his shelves and cupboards until he heard the chime like giggling of his daughter, then silently he snuck up next to the bed and caught the little girl up in his arms," AH HA! You can never hide treasure from a pirate!"
