Alana had her bucket of trash that she picked up around the dock area. Things were getting BETTER around Storybrooke. Under Eric's guidance, a young boy named Henry Mills was actually speaking out against littering, especially around the docks were Storybrooke MAY be harboring two mermaid citizens. There was a big to do about it and even a celebration... of course the MERMAIDS could not attend as it was on land.
But Eric brought Henry to the docks to meet Alana and Ariel. Ariel did most of the talking, as usual... but Henry engaged with Alana as well. She was a little wary, especially with how her LAST encounter with children had fared... but Henry was... special. He was smart... and understood that they were just citizens like anyone else... not something to be chased and exploited for it's uniqueness. Ever since then, Storybrooke had taken better care of keeping it's town clean.
There were also a few more people trying to get pictures of mermaids as well... but oh well. Alana hummed to herself as she decided to head back to the sunken houseboat that was now her dwelling with Ariel... when she saw something sparkle above the surface of water. She cautiously rose, seeing a necklace of silver, diamond, and purple stone glittering back at her.
It was dangling from a post... from a nail. As if it were waiting for her. She took it down and clasped it around her neck. It was indeed beautiful. Was this from Eric? Or maybe it was for Ariel? From Sheng?
That when she heard the heavy booted steps along the dock coming towards her. She quickly maneuvered herself under the docks so that she would be out of view. And if they tried jumping in after her, well... she would be able to get away in her own element easy enough. But the foot steps just stopped. There was silence for a long time and Alana wondered if she shouldn't just swim away...
Then there was a HAND over the edge, dipping into the water before her. It certainly wasn't Eric's, and it was too rough and thick, and even sun- spotted to be Sheng's. It had a ring on it's thumb... a skull with rubies it its eyes and fangs. The fingers stroked at the water and then cupped as it came out out of being submerged. Water dripped from the hand as it disappeared out of sight. Alana could almost hear the sound of water being slurped and a satisfied grunt. Then those heavy steps walked away.
Alana stayed put for a few more minutes, just to be sure that WHOEVER that was was gone for sure. She then came out and took off the necklace, placing it back on the nail where she found it. If it wasn't from someone she knew, she didn't want it.
She quickly made her way back to the houseboat. She didn't know why her hands were trembling. She just... had a bad feeling about the owner of that hand...

Ariel was rather enjoying wearing Alana's pretty tops and jewelry. She was getting amazing at this and Ariel was thinking it might be the start of a new career for Alana.
She swam around the ship singing to herself. Waiting for Alana to return Ariel was actually happy she couldn't believe it a mermaid and happy. Though she wanted to be human more then anything she had been getting to know Sheng and Ariel was actually falling for him. Which made her happy because she was finally over Killian.
She smiled when she heard her sister swimming to the ship. Ariel swam over to great her.

Alana kept checking behind her, feeling as thought she was being followed. She saw Ariel coming out to greet her but she just silently grabbed her little sisters arm and pulled her back towards the houseboat. Ariel inquired what was going on, but Alana didn't responded until she had checked outside all of the windows... there was no one.... absolutely no one and nothing.
Alana shook her head. "I'm sorry I just... had a strange experience at the docks. But it was probably nothing." She said, unloading a fanny pack that had been at her waist, full of delicate little shells and miscellaneous items to incorporate into more seashell tops. She was even working on a net "sweater" that had shells dangling from intersecting lines. "Apparently some people are trying to lure us with jewelry..." She tried smirking, to hide the worry.
Ariel always told her that she worried TOO MUCH.

"I think your right Alana its probably nothing though lets keep an eye out just in case." Ariel was getting ready for bed after that long night with Sheng she was still rather tired.
"I'm going to finally get some proper rest." Ariel said getting cozy in the little bed. She finally fell into a deep slumber.

Blackbeard saw all he needed to when the mermaid grabbed his bait and went back into the waters. So there was two of them and if the black haired one wasn't the one he wanted that was okay. Two was always better then one.
He had done pretty well with getting a crew once the curse broke still he was trying to live forever he needed mermaid's to get the magic flowing. Nothing would make him regain what he lost faster then eating the flesh of the most magical creature he could think of.
He used his men to hook a huge net up to the boat the mermaids were staying in and began hulling it up to his massive ship. He would get his revenge on that red headed mermaid and he would have another to boot. It was going to be a great night.

Alana awoke to buckets of shells and accessories floating down to the floor and onto her. He was slightly disoriented, but she looked outside the houseboat window to see thick netting around the outside. Her face paled. Who would DO this??? She quickly opened the window and took a shell with a razor edge.
"Ariel!" She called, focusing on her task. "Ariel, we've got unwelcome guests!!!" hoping that would be enough to get her sister up. She got through some of thick rope and made an opening wide enough for them to get through. "ARIEL. COME ON!" She slid through, but the boat was being lifted higher and higher towards the surface. "ARIEL!!!"
She saw red hair finally peak out of the opening, but the boat was already at the surface, draining water out, making ariel tumble back into the vessel. Alana cried out and swam with all her might, leaping out of the watery depths and into the night air to latch onto the net. She climbed, hauling the weight of her purple tail, trying to make it back to that window.
"Ariel!" She cried out again. She could just barely glance in to see Ariel huddled against a fallen dresser. The houseboat was dangling in the moonlight, a larger ship below it. Alana could hear her little sister telling her to leave her, to escape...
But Alana clawed her way back into the vessel, tumbled across to Ariel, and held her little sister close.
"If we can just make it to that window..." She said, trying not to let her voice waver, but she knew time was up. They were trapped.

Ariel held on to her sister, "Who would do this?" She asked her voice soft Ariel couldn't think of anyone who would want mermaids. They wouldn't expose them because that would expose the whole town.
"Stay close we will figure out a way out of this I promise nothing will happen to you." Ariel might be the younger sister but she would protect Alana this time with her life if need be. She looked around not able to see much the water was draining from their little house boat quickly soon they would be exposed there was no where to hide.
Ariel braced herself for whatever was to happen next.

Blackbeard brought the entire house boat on his deck of his huge ship. He tore off the door to the inside of the little boat and walked in his huge boots hitting the floor loudly.
"I know your in here you little pesky mermaid! You got away from me once and you will pay for that. Come out I can smell you so I know your in here." He ripped back the dresser that was hiding the two of them from view.
"There you are! Oh and look you brought a friend." his lips curved into a smile.

Alana was holding her sister tightly; she could feel Ariel tremble ever so slightly.
"Who are you?" Alana bared her white teeth, hissing, trying to look as threatening as she could. "WHAT do you want???"
How did Ariel know this man?

"Not here Blackbeard! You don't have you undead sailors here and I will not go down with out a fight!" Ariel defended herself the best she could. Truth was she wanted to kill him more then anything.
It wasn't possible and if he was here they were in big trouble.
"What do you want!" Ariel was trying to get free of the dresser and push Alana out if she could get free Alana could get help.

"What do I want? I WANT YOU! You got away from me once Princess don't think I am in the habit of letting that happen twice. How exciting two mermaids in this shitty world it must be my birthday." He sneered.
"Grab them men we have plans for you both." He had his men grab the girls when the boat pulled up to the old ship building warehouse no one would think to look for him here or them.
"Toss them in one of the holds then take the ship back out to sea if anyone comes looking for them that's where they will think they are. Take no chances they have friends." He remembered all to well the Ocean princess's friend he was formidable but together they had stopped him he wouldn't be so quick to put down his defenses this time.

The two were carried and tossed into a large docking area for a new ship to be pulled out into the bay. The railing had no ship on top of it, but the large exit opening to the bay was sealed shut with a large metal door, leaving only a slight puddle worth of water from the outside.
Alana rolled in first, and then Ariel, tossed in by her red hair. They flopped along the concrete floor, watching as the crew jeered and laughed and then sealed them in.
As soon as they were alone, Alana dragged herself towards the wall. "There HAS to be another way out. We need WATER..." She said, trying to keep her voice level, though inside she was screaming. "Who WAS that, Ariel? He acts like he knows you." Ariel had called him 'Blackbeard'. That didn't sound good; a pirate. Ariel didn't respond right away. Alana turned towards her little sister. "Ariel?"

Ariel hit the ground hard there was barely any water to soften their falls into the huge pit type thing it was made of cement and it hurt her fin just sitting on it.
Ariel was shaking they were in so much trouble if Blackbeard was here if he still had power. She shook her head, "He will give us water ... he wants us alive..." Ariel whispered to her sister trying to keep the fear out of her voice but failing terribly.
You couldn't get magic out of dead mermaids they had to be fresh much like sushi and the thought made Ariel want to vomit.
"Alana I know him I had a run in with him when he stole the trident." Ariel couldn't tell her that this is the pirate that killed their mother she wanted to but she couldn't bring herself to share it.

Alana's eyes widened. "He was the one who stole the trident?" This was bad... if someone had the power to do THAT...
"Ariel, he said he has 'plans' for us... what does he want from us?" She asked. "Does... does he want the trident again?" But the way Ariel avoided her eyes told her it was something far more demented. "Ariel... don't keep me in the dark! I'm in this mess too... if you tell me, we can come up with a plan of our own, together."

Ariel looked at Alana she was right she deserved to know. "He thinks eating mermaid flesh will grant him eternal life. He is going to eat us last time Killian was able to save me he got stabbed in the process we are in so much trouble. How long before Eric comes looking for you? Perhaps he will call Sheng? Its the only thing we can hope for right now Alana."
Ariel met her sisters eyes, "He hates me because I stopped him last time I expect I will go first."
