"Then...you did come across the Goldspinner...." the Piper said softly. Slowly, one could see he was becoming more at ease once more.

"Even The Princess Jacquier of Knottingham has her weaknesses...", she pursed her lips,"... But yes, he offered his help."

Oliver looked down. "Well, it shows the Princess is human then..."

"Thanks,"She remarked sarcastically, Robin rolled her eyes,"All he really asked for was the anklet, so far that hasn't come back to haunt me... But I can't help wonder when it will..." She shrugged,"Unrill then the 'Rogue Princess' remains an outlaw hiding in Sherwood forest."

"Well, it is certainly a honor to meet you M'Lady" he replied. "Clearly, word of mouth does not do one justice enough."
His words were true. He had heard of The Rogue Princess though rumors in Hamlin. However, he'd not believed them until that very day.

"Likewise Piper" a flicker of a smile player on her lips. Robin could feel her cheeks warm, honestly she had always thought the name to be sort of silly, but he seemed to be intrigued. She quickly changed the subject.
"So, you come from Hamlin? Do you have any family? A wife and some children maybe?"

"I come from Hamlin, yes" he replied as they walked on. "No family of my own...Never got married, though I've thought about it. Adore children."

"I bet they like you a lot too," She smiled her nose crinkling a little,"Thought about it hmmmm? Was there a special lady then?"

He turned a shade of pink in his cheeks. "The children do..yes" he replied. "As for a 'special lady'.....no, there isn't one.."

This surprised her a little, she glanced away,"Their loss I suppose..." she muttered under her breath.
She looked up through the trees at the sinking sun, it would be dark soon. "We're running out of daylight, We'll need a place to sleep for the night." up ahead she spotted a small grove, it was sheltered enough by trees and brush that it would hide them, but abandoned so they wouldn't cause any trouble with any irritable forest creatures. Robin trotted over to the shelter inspecting it,"This will have to work for tonight..."

"This looks fine" the piper agreed. They began to set up for the evening when Oliver asked. "...How about you? Don't you have anyone still wondering where you might have wandered off to?"

"Hmm?" a little surprised by the question,"Oh... Um, not exactly" she took off her cloak laying and smoothed it out on the grass. "My little sister still lives... There" Marian had always been a touchy subject for Robin, she could never bring it up without feeling guilty for leaving her behind.

"......Besides your sister....haven't you anyone whom might wonder where you're at tonight? Where you'll be tomorrow?" He tried another way of phrasing things. "Any...husband? Betrothed? .....heirs?"

She shook her head,"No such luck", she said,"But then any relationship is hard to keep when your every waking hour is spent locked up in your bedroom... Then again if I did have someone I might not be stuck in this mess," The idea almost came off as a joke, seeing as how any 'Betrothed' would have been a puppet of King John, just another torture devise really. Not to mention she never really liked the idea of being 'dependent' on someone else, whether it was out if pride or fear that they would let her down she didn't know. But still... The idea had a small flicker of appeal.

The Piper perked up upon hearing that. She wasn't betrothed?
"Their loss I suppose" he said quietly. "May I help somehow?"
