A figure rushed amongst the forest. He had gone off the beaten path, now following deer trails and breathing heavily.
He looked back, slowing down to a jog only enough to hear if there were anyone following him. Hearing nothing, he slowed to a stop. His heart was still beating heard as he leaned against a tree and sliding down to a sitting position to calm down.

What this Piper didn't know, was that just a few feet above him was Princess Jacquier, better known as Robin Hood. She had gone hunting, a common routine for her, and found herself a decent view from the branches. Of course she sensed this new comers presence almost immediately, partially because she was intrigued by the strangers sudden approach but also she realised she had no disguise on whatsoever. If he were to spot her and recognise her it would be all over, panic swept over her as she tried to reach into a pocket trying to find the fake facial hair she usually wore. This unfortunately caused her to lose her footing...

The Piper turned his head when he heard the branch snap. Movement in the trees caused him to quickly get to his feet and took off his side pouch.
As the other figure lost footing and tumbled out of the tree, the Piper Went to catch her.

At the last second Robin caught a branch with one hand, her hands scratched and bleeding slightly. She tried to swing herself up but just found that her grip was loosening. The stranger was still there, she glanced down at him, clearly he had noticed her presence(but then who wouldn't at this point), she swore under her breath. Robin was still a good height up, if she let go and landed on the ground she could easily twist or even break her ankle.

"I'll catch you, Miss!" the Piper called up to the female hanging from the tree. Though she was wearing pants, he had managed to get a glimps of her face. "Let go!

She took another glance at him, he was tall, lean, hopefully he could handle her weight... Though she had some doubt," Oh that's reassuring," she said under her breath, then grunted a little trying one last time to pull herself. Finally she gave in," Alright, count of three... One... two... Three!" she let go squeezing her eyes tight as gravity pulled her to the ground.

True to his word, the Piper caught her. However, the force of the fall knocked him to his backside with an 'Oof'. That being the very reason why he had taken off his side pack.

Robin grimaced, hands stinging a little, "Nice catch..." she said, pulling herself up to her feet. She turned and offered a hand to the stranger. Robin noticed for the first time that he had striking blue eyes and dark curly locks... She blinked. "Thank you, for catching me..."

The Piper took her offered hand by her wrist and allowed her to help him up. "Twas nothing. I am always catching fair maidens faling from trees" he quipped before meeting her eyes. For a moment, he simply stared then shook his head. "Your hands, they're..."

Robin laughed and sported a grin, till he mentioned her hands. She looked down at them, they were smeared with mostly mud and tree bark, but she was bleeding as well.
She winced a little,"Oh, uh... It's nothing, I'll clean them up..." she tried to remember if she had any bandages left, there was a brook not to far from here...

"I thought I saw a creek or brooke or something back that way" he offered. "And I know If got something for bandages...." He went to pick up his side-bag and opened it with a soft, "Alright in there Little Buddy? .... Alright" The piper closed it and grinned. "Yes, I do."

The 'soft whispering into his pocket' thing made Robin raise an eyebrow. Even outside of the muttering Robin wasn't so sure she wanted a follower, if things went south...
"Um, no I think have some of my own" When Robin had reached into her own side bag, pain burned in her raw hands. She flinched, it was rather pitiful...

"No, really" the Piper told her making his way over. "I can help." At that, as if on cue, a pointy nose with whiskers peaked out of the sidepouch and gave a 'squeak'

Robin sighed, about to give in and let this man help her, but upon hearing the squeak and seeing the rodents nose poke out of his pocket she raised an eyebrow.
"... Tell me that's not where you keep the bandages" she smirked a little, she truthfully wasn't disgusted by the small rat, it almost amused her to see such a soft, tiny creature.

"Well...it is. But it's not where Little Buddy normally is." At that, the Piper lifted the brown rat up and placed him on his shoulder. "He normally sits here....He only rides in the pouch when I must.....run..fast..." The traveler let it trail of there and hesitated only a moment before changing subject. "I, uh.....hope rodents dont bother you any?"
