So this was it.... All the rumours of her castle certainly were true... It was magnificent.
Prince John of Knottingham stepped out his carriage and walked into the courtyard. She said she would speak with him here. He hoped she would at least listen to what he had to say....

Queen Regina watched from her mirror as a carriage entered her boarders and stood on a balcony to watch as it entered her courtyard and Prince John of Knottingham stepped out. She gave a smile. Whatever it was she wished to speak to him about, it would be easy to get from him what She wanted in return.
Regina prepared to meet him and then headed down to the courtyard herself. The doors to the courtyard opened and she stepped out

He turned to the sound of doors opening. The prince bowed before the presence of the Queen the took her hand and kissed her fingers gently,"Your Majesty," he greeted

Queen Regina smiled as the man bowed, took her hand and kissed her fingers so gently and gentlemanly. "Hello there Prince John" she replied. "You wished to speak to me, did you not?"

He nodded and rose to his feet," as a matter of I did... I have a... A family issue I think you might be able to help me with," he gestured to the courtyard gardens,"would walk with me a moment?"

She gave a smirk. "But of course, Prince John." She took his arm when he offered it to her and led the way.

He smiled and walked with her into the gardens,"I'm not sure if you've heard... But Unfortuanetly the Knottingham house hasn't been.... Financially thriving..." He started," my brother, as genorous as he is, I feel... His interests don't align with our family's..."

Queen Regina came to a stop.
"I haven't heard. I'm afraid I am unable to travel out towards Knottingham, John. As you may or may not know, I fear for my own life whenever I do decide to travel outside the castle walls." She gave a deep, swooning sigh -back of her hand to her ahead and all- to the point where the Queen just felt she had to sit or else she'd topple.

The Prince caught her and gently brought her over to a stone bench,"I'm sorry to hear that m'lady, and unfortunately we've had plenty of issues in Knottingham that have kept us tied up so I haven't been able to keep up with too much else..."

"Oh!" Regina gasped as she found herself toppling. She then fiound herself in the Prince's arms as he sat her down gently onto a bench. She gave a sigh. "Certainly you've heard about my husband's death..."

She sighed. "And now his daughter wants to kill me as well...." She wiped her eyes. "....Tell me, John...I treat that girl as if she were my own and she....she threatens my very existance everytime I exit these walls... Does that seem...right?"

"Of course not M'lady.... But... Perhaps I can help...." He started, though in his mind he wasn't so sure that he could. There would only be one way in which he would be any use to her, have the power he required in order to assist her....

"That depends..." He started," while I am Royalty in my kingdom I don't really have the kind of power I'd require to help you with this 'Snow White'..." He sighed," My brother has been squandering away our resources and I fear if this continues our family will have nothing left for ourselves, but if I could take the throne..." He trailed off a little," well, things would certainly change, but I only have so long till his oldest heir comes of age, and once she does I will have no say in the way our kingdom is run whatsoever"
