"You're welcome, Ava." Henry smiled as he picked up both the cupcakes, waiting for Ava to get her garlic bread. "Not really," he answered Benny. "She does a good job, though. You think she might need any extra help?"

Benny gave a shug. "It's just her" he said again. "I like to help, but usually I have school. Or I work for Mr. Gold. It'd be best to ask her."
"Ask me what?" Claudia chimed in, entering the main shop with the finished bread.

Ava nodded her head at Benny and gave a simple response, "Thanks." She turned her head back to Henry, feeling more composed, before thanking him again, "Thanks again for the cupcake, Henry." Glancing up at Claudia, she gave a small smile. "I'm sure it will be delicious."

"Nothing, Miss Miller," Henry verified once the woman was back. "Just wondering if you needed extra help around here." The boy then turned and gave somewhat of a shy smile to Ava. "You're welcome... again, Ava," he responded.

Claudia gave a gentle smile as she handed Ava the fresh baked garlic bread wrapped neatly to go. "Here you are Ava. Give your father a 'hello' from me, won't you? And let me know what you think of the cupcake later, alright?" She then turned to Henry. "Every now and then, I do find mself needing extra hands around here" Claudia Miller admited. "Yes, I have Benny, but he also has school and spends some aftersnoons working for Mr. Gold..."
Benny looked down. He often wished too that he could help his mother more. But she always told him that he needed to live his own life and be a kid.
